We wish that all of you could have joined us for camp!
After acting out a Bible story, we had a blast playing a game!
During "free time" some chose to play basketball, soccer, swim, hike and/or play in the creek.
We had fun in the afternoon playing games with others from the church.
Some of the best times are had when we just sit around and chat:)
Group photo!  Next year we hope to see you in this picture!

Back from Guatemala

Hi Everyone!
We had a great time in Guatemala.  Mynor saw many people that he remembers from when he lived at Agua Viva.  He is making a scrapbook about the trip and will show it to you all in the fall.  We spent most of our time at the Children's Home working and interacting with the kids -- playing games, leading devotions, setting up & running a challenge course.  But, we did a few things off campus, too -- volcano, water park, Antigua.  It was a great experience.  Mission trips are so much fun and challenging, too!  I hope that we can take some of you on a Mission trip in the future:)
Love,
MB
P.S.  Yes, that is lava that Mynor is poking with a stick!

Thinking about all of you!

Hi gang !!!

Just letting you all know that I am thinking about you all this summer. I hope you all are enjoying your summer. I certainly am with my new baby, Susannah Joy. She is beautiful and wonderful!!

Also, don't forget --- Mynor and his family are in Guatemala now. Pray for them! They are helping at the place where Mynor grew up. God has exciting things happening for them.

I see that some of you went to the Deaf Youth Alive --- ALLL NIGHT in Roanoke! That is awesome and it looks like you had a great time!!!

I am praying for all of you too. I hope to talk with you sometime this summer!

God bless you!
Harry

Hey Everyone!
Summer break is here, and that means extra time for many of you to do the electronic chat thing.  I've already had some conversations with some of you on AIM and VP.  Now, let's try the blog thing:)  This means that all of the youth group leaders and all of the youth can share conversations with each other.
We, leaders, will post words of encouragement to you, youth, as you continue in your faith journey throughout the summer and beyond.  You can post questions that you have, frustrations you are going through, exciting news that you want to share with the group -- whatever!
This will also be a place that we can post information about upcoming events so that your parents can know what is happening -- with instructions on how you can get involved!
Together, let's make this blog a successful way to keep in touch and grow closer to Jesus Christ!

Love you all!
